The standard range of MULTICO Generating sets is designed as skid-mounted, manual electric start units to provide electric power up to 2250KVA.

ENGINE

The diesel engines used are of high quality, efficient and have low operating cost, more productivity and less maintenance. The engines are designed with emphasis on greater power density, fuel economy, lower noise and emission levels while maintaining the standard of reliability and long life. All engines are run-in and tested to their rated power before leaving the factory.

ALTERNATOR

Brushless alternator of the self-exciting, self-regulating, drip-proof, screen protected, single/double bearing with solid state voltage regulation to maintain voltage regulation to within ± 2% from no load to full load and power factor range from 0.8 to unity, fully tropicalised in accordance to BS 5000.

GENSET CONSTRUCTION

Fully fabricated steel sub-base on which is mounted the radiator, diesel engine and alternator. The engine and alternator are flexibly coupled together and positively aligned, the alternator being coupled to the engine flywheel through a flexible disc / coupling.

TESTING

All generating sets are tested in our factory on a resistive load bank before despatch.
